The brake reduces recoil up to 50-75% and reduces muzzle climb up to 60-80% depending on the ammo load. Made for Mosin Nagant Rifle M44, M38 and Type 53 Mosin Nagant rifles. The brake clamps on to barrel and locks in place using the thumb screw / retaining srews and looks great. The brake reduces muzzle climb by directing gas upward through 3 big gas ports. The recoil is diminished by 6 gas ports which direct gas at a 45° angle away from the weapon. The two gas streams cancel each other and absorb the force of recoil.
