The black plastic handles are textured for a better grip, and the exposed tang has indexing notches for precision knife handling.The black Zytel sheath uses cutouts that match the handle to form a secure lock with the blade itself. The sheath also doubles as a rescue whistle, for use in the wild or to attract attention at any time. Each sheath comes with a ball chain for wear around the neck, and has the Smith & Wesson logo emblazoned upon it.
