The extended latch makes it easy to pull back in any situation, and it is excellent quality. Cons: None it is Awsom. Other thoughts: I have changed out all my AR-15s with this Ambidextrous Charging handle with Extended Latch. I like it that much. With either hand, you can quickly charge the weapon and clear malfunctioning rounds, with or without gloves. Cons: none Other thoughts: It is much better than the charging handle that came with my AR15 rifles.
