The scope mount is designed to replace the rear sight leaf on the Mosin Nagant rifle. This combination of scope mount and scope is suitable for a Mosin Nagant rifle that was not originally equipped with a Russian 91/30 PU sniper scope. It is compatible with both cant-style and straight bolt handles. The installation process is straightforward: begin by using a punch to remove the rear sight leaf pin, followed by the removal of the rear sight leaf and spring. Next, position the scope mount between the sight ears and evenly tighten the side screws to secure it. Finally, adjust the mount's elevation by loosening one top screw and tightening the other until it is level with the rifle barrel. Once these steps are completed, the installation is finished.
