This 12-gauge shotgun laser bore sight features a heavy-duty red laser housed in solid brass. It utilizes a Class IIIA red laser output of <5 mW. A boresighter for a 12-gauge shotgun operates by utilizing a laser bore sight that is loaded like a standard 12-gauge shotgun shell. When loaded, the boresight projects a laser dot that indicates the alignment of the shotgun's aim. This enables adjustments to the sight to align it with the laser dot. The use of a 12-gauge shotgun laser bore sight facilitates the sighting of any scope without the need to fire rounds. Live fire is only necessary to fine-tune the weapon being sighted, compensating for factors such as bullet drop over distance. The device requires three AG13 batteries, which are included. The 12-gauge laser bore sight is pre-adjusted at the factory, enabling quick zeroing and alignment with the target, thereby reducing wasted time and ammunition.
