The heat shield easily adapts to most 12, 16, 20, and .410 gauge pump-action shotgun barrels. It features a black oxide finish that complements most shotgun components. Installation is simple: the heat shield slides onto the barrel and is secured with the included hardware. It fits many popular 12/20-gauge pump shotguns, including the Remington 870, Mossberg 500/535/590/835, Winchester 1200/1300, SXP Defender, Mossberg Maverick 88, and others. Note Each heatshield should be custom fitted to smaller barrels. If you do not have the proper tools or do not feel comfortable fitting the heatshield to your firearm, please enlist the services of your local gunsmith. Note: This will only fit your shotgun if the barrel lug is more than 13.5" from the receiver. Measure it before you buy it. You are responsible for any damage caused by improper installation.
