This drop-in AR15 M-LOK® Handguard carbine length is specifically designed for carbine AR-15/M4 rifles with carbine-length gas systems. This handguard combines the lightweight profile of a standard AR-15 handguard with the versatile modularity of the M-LOK system. It is compatible with virtually all mil-spec carbine models, including the Ruger AR-556, S&W M&P®15 Sport 2-3, and Bushmaster XM15-E2S, among others. The design offers enhanced customization by allowing the attachment of various M-LOK® accessories while maintaining ease of handling and maneuverability. The M-LOK® handguard features a user-friendly drop-in, two-piece design that fits a MIL-SPEC round Delta Ring and front handguard cap. Installation involves removing the existing M4 carbine-length handguard, inserting the new M-LOK® handguard, and securing it with the provided screws. The handguard’s top Picatinny rail aligns with the receiver height and extends over the Delta Ring to the receiver’s edge. It includes seven angled surfaces equipped with M-LOK® slots and comes with M-LOK handguard accessories. Two M-LOK® to Picatinny rail sections: a short section with 1½ M-LOK® slots (yielding a 5-slot Picatinny rail) and a medium section with 2½ M-LOK® slots (yielding a 9-slot Picatinny rail). These M-LOK® Picatinny rail sections can be attached to any of the seven angled M-LOK® surfaces. Constructed from black T-6 rugged hard-anodized aluminum, the handguard measures 7.5 inches and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
