The Leapers TL-M47SR, AK 47 side rail mount plate is for mounting AK47 and AK74 rifle optics. This AK Dovetail UTG steel side rail accepts a wide variety of AK side mounts. It is precision machined from solid steel and fits both milled and stamped AK receivers. The dovetail side plate is designed for combat use with great scope zero retention. It fits virtually any AK-47 side scope mount meant for the standard AK rifle. It accepts any of the European PSA or POSP Scopes with an AK-style side mount. The design is based on the military system which guarantees to maintain zero with the Soviet-derived quick-detachable sighting systems for Kalashnikov rifles. The rail requires only a minimal number of hand tools to be installed. You may need a machinist or gunsmith if you do not have the skill to install it yourself. For installation, you will need to drill 3 holes on the side wall of the receiver. It is intended for use with the Kalashnikov AK, Dragunov, Vepr, and Saiga rifles, as well as the Century Arms AK47, Bulgarian AK-74, and Norinco AK47 with no side rail for mounting optics.
